On the morning of November 14, 2012, about three hours north of Cairns, at a blessedly clear observation site, astronomers and partygoers from around the world gathered to celebrate the total solar eclipse that occurred for about two minutes, one hour after sunrise.
2012年11月14日午前、ケアンズから北へ３時間程に位置する、晴天に恵まれた観測地では、世界中から天文関係者、パーティーピーポーが集い、日の出の１時間後に約２分に渡り発生した皆既日食を祝った。
